To use this calculator just enter the IV values between 0.44 and 1.06 of the both the resins being used for the blend and also input the volume (in %) of one of these resins. Click "Submit" and the resulting IV will be displayed. The calculator also gives you the molecular weights of the individual resins.The resulting IV is set as the blended resin's Starting IV on the Nomograph and indicates what its final IV would be when there is 50 ppm moisture present. If you would like to vary the moisture present, simply drag the point along the scale and your final IV will change accordingly.
